Google Search Console now includes a desktop version of the page experience report, as promised. As you might think, the desktop and mobile versions are very similar. You now have a report to utilise to assess how well you are performing on that front, with the page experience update algorithm coming to desktop next month with a February 2022 launch.
To help site owners understand Google’s ‘great page experience’ criterion, Search Console now includes a dedicated desktop component in its Page Experience report to help site owners understand the approaching of the desktop report as said by the team of Google to the news.
You may find the report in Google Search Console – not all sites will have enough data to display, but if you have sufficient traffic, you should be able to view it.
When you filter by pleasant page experience in Google Search Console’s performance report, you can now add desktop data as well. Google penned “The Page Experience report now contains statistics from both desktop and mobile devices (great!). As a result, if you restrict your search performance results to Good page experience, you can see a boost in impressions thanks to all of that extra desktop data.”
The first page experience report in Search Console was released in April 2021, and it was only for mobile pages. With the upcoming debut of the desktop version of the algorithm, Google created a desktop version.
